Show LUMBER FOR POST WORK ARRIVES Four carloads of lumber for use In constructing con-structing the new messhall, kitchen and hospital detachment barracks of the army general hospital at Fort Douglas arrived yesterday and more of it is on the road. S30.-000 S30.-000 construction contract covering 'these i buildings, reported to the constructing; quartermaster of the hospital yesterday j morning that actual building operations are expected to bo gotten under way this ' week. j The contract for construction of these buildings was awarded to the Lynch-Can- non company of Salt Lake some time ago, but actual building has been held up pending, pend-ing, arrival of lumber from Camp Kearny, C.U., whence it is being shipped. |
