Show STATE AND COUNTY REACH AGREEMENT An understanding between state and county officials as to accounts was reached yesterday at a conference of State Auditor Joseph Kirie and Deputy E. G. Thomas with the board of county commissioners. With regard to the charge of $2500 by the countv for rent of offices in the City and County building the state representatives admitted that the offices of-fices were not actuallv turned over to the countv until the Iast was vacated by the secretary of state on December 31, 1915, though the move to the Capitol Capi-tol was begun in September. This was established from records submitted by Comitr Clerk Thomas Homer. As a result it is probable that m addition ad-dition to the $1250, appropriated to the pavment of the rental bill by the last legislature as much more will be asked of the next legislature in order to settle the account between the county and the state. |
