Show WIDE AREA GRIPPED BY BOREAS BLAST Blizzard Reported Raging in Territory Between Rawlins and Green River, .Wyo.; Trains Are Delayed. Special to The Tribune. OGJ:N, March 23. Most of the territory ter-ritory between Rawlins aod Green ! Kiver. Wyo., was in the grip of another blizzard today, according to reports received re-ceived in thus city, and all westbound Union Pacific trains of today's schedule sched-ule will be delayed from six to ten hours. At a late hour this evening train No. I, the Overland Limited, and No. 19, the Pacific Limited, had arrived, but tho other trains of today's schedule will not reach this city before an early hour tomorrow morning. The tracks are covered with snow for miles at a stretch and the cuts are fast filling; with snow mixed with sand, according ac-cording to the reports of trainmen on the two trains which have arrived. While the trains did not find it particularly par-ticularly difficult to get through today, it is believed that the lines will be seriously se-riously blocked by tonight unless the storm abates. In the event of continued snow in Wvoming all westbound trains will be held behind the probable blockade block-ade tonight. Following the arrival of the first of today's trains between 3 and u, o'clock this afternoon, train No. 7, the Los Angeles Limited, was reported at 4 a. m. and No. 9, the fast mail, at the same hour. i |
