Show COMPENSATION ACT ENGAGES ATTENTION I Numerous Inquiries as to Scope of Uew Legislation Being deceived at the State House. Rulon S. "Wells, state insurance commissioner, com-missioner, is receiving many inquiries from outside insurance companies, individuals in-dividuals and corporations relative to the terms and provisions of the workmen's work-men's compensation act passed by the last Utah legislature. Most of the inquirers in-quirers ask for copies of the law, which is now being printed for distribution. "Most of the people seem to think that the administration of this law belongs be-longs in the insurance department, said Mr. Wells, "and as result are flooding mv office with inquiries. Of course T am simply referring the communications com-munications to the industrial commission, commis-sion, which has the task of administering administer-ing the new law. " ... Vhile the industrial commission has not formallv organized it has opened offices in room 440. Capitol building, and Commissioner W. H. Knerr is on hand to take care of correspondence. |
