Show EBERHART COMING ! EOR PEWEETIi Former Minnesota Governor Govern-or to Address Gathering of Local League Branch. Definite decision to proceed with arrangements ar-rangements for a big public peace meeting meet-ing to be held in Salt Lake April 4, and to be addressed by former Governor Adolph Kberhart of Minnesota, was reached at a meeting at the Hotel Utah last, night of officers and members of the Utah branch of the League to Enforce En-force Peace. While complete arrangements have not been made, it is expected that the general meeting will be held in the ballroom of the Hotel Utah at S p. in. In addition to former Governor Uber-hart Uber-hart there will probably be present "vT. R. Boyd, district secretary of the American Amer-ican branch of the league, for the southwest south-west district of the United States. Mr. Boyd is now on a tour through the south in the interests of the peace movement. Present at the meeting last night -was George H. Moseley, district seerotar for the nort.hw-est district of the Uuit-ed Uuit-ed States. Mr. Moseley is on a tour of his territory spreading the peace propaganda pro-paganda and more thoroughly organizing organiz-ing the. western territory. Mr. Moseley was to have delivered an address at the meeting, but owing to the fact that other engagements kept most of the members of the league away, -no attempt was made to hold a general meeting of the Utah branch. A meeting of the American branch is to be held in "Washington. D. C, May 11 and 12, and meetings similar to the one in Salt Lake April 4 are to be held in cities throughout the United States, to arouse interest in the general convention con-vention in Washington. |
