Show Results in Missouri. ST. LOUIS, Aug. L Returns from the Missouri primary up to ll::i0 tonight indicated in-dicated that Frederick D. Gardner of St. Loins had won the Democratic gubernatorial guberna-torial nomination by a plurality of about 20.U00 votes. John V. Atkinson of Doniphan Doni-phan was second, with Cornelius Roach of Carthage and A. N. Lindsey of Clinton running a close race for third. Urn ted States Senator James A. Reed nf Kansas City was nominated overwhelmingly overwhelm-ingly over L. O. Martin in the Democratic senatorial contest. Walter S. Dickey was leading the Republican senatorial candidates candi-dates by a sweeping vote. In the Republican race for the gubernatorial guber-natorial nomination John E. Swanprer had a lead over all opposing. Henry Lamm of Sedalia was running second. Swanser's plurality was estimated at 11:30 tonight at 15,000. thoutjh Lamm had an apparent lead of about 12.000 in St. Louis. |
