Show Mining Notes. At the annual meeting of the Cottonwood Cotton-wood King Mining company, S. A. Parry was re-elected president; George TL Webb, vice president; H. H. Harris, treasurer; W. J. McLaughlin, secret arv, and L. T. Wakeham. J. F. Metz and F. H. Ashhi-hiara Ashhi-hiara as directors. J. H. Tadlock, George G. Bywater and A. T. Harding retired from the hoard. There was represented 627,500 shares of stock at the meeting. The Walker Mining company, with property in Plumas count', California, is now shipping high-grade ore. A strong syndica te has recently sent engineers to the property to make an examination, with a view to buying It. David J. Cook, superintendent of the East Hecla Mines company, with property in the Little Cottonwood district, says that work lias been started on the property, prop-erty, v Thomley Hey wood, who has been in Los Angeles for the past five years, engaged en-gaged . in the mining business, has returned re-turned to Salt Lake. He will make his home here. |
