Show GLASMANN ESTATE VALUED AT $78,000 Widow of Ogden Newspaper Man Files His 'Will feu: Probate in District Court. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Aug. 1. An estate valued at approximately $78,000 was left by William Glasmami, Ogden newspaper publisher, when he died suddenly on May 12, according- to a petition filed in the district court today by Evelyn Glasmann, the widow, who asks that the will be probated. The bulk of the estate is cash on deposit in several Ogden Og-den banks, tho total being nearly ' $50,000. According to the petition of the widow, wid-ow, the real estate included in the estate es-tate is valued at $5000. Tho various bank deposits are enumerated in the petition as follows: Ogden State bank, $2500; Ogden Savings bank, $24,4112; Utah National bnnk, $18,494, and First National .bank, $3700. It also is represented repre-sented that Mr. Glasmann was the own-ir own-ir of 111,850 shares of the capital stock tf the Ogden Standard Publishing company com-pany of the probable value of $2 per share; ti5S shares of the capital stock of tho Ogden Bench Canal company of the probable value of 50 cents ncr share, 505 shares of stock of the Ogden River Reservoir company, on which no valuation is given, and slinres of stock in several mining enterprises. The total value of the estate, according accord-ing to tho petition, does not exceed $78.-(H0. $78.-(H0. Tho petition represents that a will drawn on February 24. 1003, was found in possession of the Wyoming consistory consis-tory of the Knights Templar. The witnesses wit-nesses to the document are F. C. Schramm and U. N. Mayo, both of Salt Lake Cilv. The heirs to the property are the widow, one daughter and four sons, two of the latter being under age. No date has yet been fixed for probating probat-ing the will. |
