Show TOOELE f . - TOOETE, May 27. The marriage of Miss Sadie MrBrlde. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. P.. McBride. to George P. Frey of Grand Junction, Colo., took place Saturday Sat-urday at noon at the home of the bride's parents on West street. Franklin Whitehotise performed the ceremony. Tiie bride was attended by Miss Eva Sloane and George Gallop of Colorado acted as best man. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. C. R. McBride. Mr. and Mrs. Tj. A. McBride, Mr. and Mrs. F. M. McBride. Mc-Bride. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. se Chape, Mr. and Mrs. P. G. Drouby, Mrs. Jack Kirk. Mrs. Ralph Lodge, Mr. and Mrs. Georre Gibbs. Ruth and Virginia McBride. Kate Anderson. George Gallop. Eva -Sloane, Phyllis Mallet, Otilla Shields and Mrs. John Brotherton. The young couple left for Salt Lake City en route to Grand Junction. Coio., where they will make their home. Henry Helms returned to Tooele Tuesday Tues-day from Anaconda, Mont., where he went to attend the funeral of his mother. Miss Lapet Adams entertained in honor of Miss Bessie Judd Saturday evening. Those present were the members of the senior class and faculty of the Tooele high school. Miss Judd was presented with a gold signet ring by the high school' students. Miss Judd will leave Wednesday Wednes-day fur Salt Lake. Mips Ida Lee is visiting friends 'and relatives in Ogden. Arthur Williams and Reuben Ball were Tooele visitors Monday. ' Mrs. Charles Davis and son Norman were passengers to Salt Lake City Tuesday. Tues-day. The high, school gymnasium was the scene of a farewell party Friday evening given in honor of Professor Fowler, who Is leaving aft er three years' service as principal of the Tooele high school. Mr. Fowler has accepted a position in the Park City hish school. Visitors to Tooele from Clover on Tuesday Tues-day were Elizabeth Beazly. Grace Jackson. Jack-son. The evening was spent in music and games. A special meeting was held Friday which marked the L-Iose of a successful school term in the high school. John Adams, student hody president, conducted the exercises. After a short musical' programme pro-gramme Professor Fowler was presented with a signet ring, engraved with the letter let-ter "T," emblem of the high school. Mr. and Mrs. William Barnes left Thursday .for New Mexico. 11 George Croft left Wednesday for Hey-burn, Hey-burn, Idaho. M rs. .Toh n Mart i n was a Salt Lake visitor this week.
