Show Liberty Improvements. WITH a score of decorators working work-ing day and night, the interior of the Liberty theater is undergoing a complete transformation, preliminary to the reopening of the house June 4. When the theater is again opened to tho public. Salt Lakers will have a chance of viewing the magnificent pres. entation of the film masterpieces of tho world, pictures which are too big to bo shown in tho regular picture theaters the-aters and pictures which find their audiences only in tho biggest cities of the United States. Under tho new plan the Liberty will havo but two shows a day, a matinee and evening perfoimance. On an average av-erage the performances will run about two" hours aud fifteen minutes with tha incidental music, which is to.be furnished fur-nished bv a big orchestra of specially chosen artists. Special musical scores will be prepared for each production, the shows playing for a full week. It is planned that every Bubject will be thoroughly rehearsed with the hundreds hun-dreds of effects and orchestrations which aro being prepared. Contracts havo already been made for the presentation of "The Ne'er Do r" Well, tho nino-rcel adaption of Be -A Beach's famed novel; "Twilight V Sleep," an analytical discussion of this world-renowned preparation; "Tha Fighting Germans," pictures taken under un-der the auspices of Kaiser Wilhelm, and depicting the German side of the titanic struggle in Europe; "Warring in Franco," the French side of the world war, and a score of others for which contracts have not been finally concluded. con-cluded. . |
