Show PRINCETON HOLDS RUTGERS SCORELESS By International News Service PRINCETON, Oct. 2. Three thousand Rutgers enthusiasts went back to New Brunswick this afternoon disappointed, after Princeton had once more beaten their favorites, 10 to 0, on University field. The Tigers got off to a flying start, and in less than ten minutes a touchdown touch-down and a field goal had been registered. regis-tered. After the first period the Rutgers team seemed to find itse,lf, and from this time on Princeton was on the defensive. Dave Tibbot was the hero of the game. After Rutgers tried the Princeton line and failed. Talman kicked the ball to Tibbot. who carried it eighty yards through the whole Rutgers team for a touchdown. Rutgers failed again to make any impression im-pression upon the Tiger lines, and on the kick Dave on.ee more ran the ball back thirty-two yards. Captain Glick then netted fifteen yards on two line plunges, putting the ball on Rutgers' twenty-yard line. After three attempts through the line failed Tibbot placed a beautiful drop kick between the goal posts from a difficult angle. This ended the scoring. In the third period Princeton played a miserable game. At one time the ball was on Princeton's one-yard line, but, thanks to Eddie Driggs, the ball was kicked sixty-eight yards to safety. Rutgers became desperate in the last period, and once carried the ball down the field to Princeton's ten-yard line. Here the Princeton line played aB of old, holding them for downs.
