Show ENROLLMENT INCREASES. Sacred Heart Academy Opens the New School Year Auspiciously. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Oct. 2. An increased number of student boarders have enrolled at the Sacred Heart academy, according to a statement issued by the faculty today. The statement reviews the work performed per-formed since the opening of the fall term and points out that the efforts to make student life attractive in every sense have aided greatly in the progress recorded. As a preliminary to the indoor physical exercises, arrangements have been perfected for staging all kinds of outdoor sports which are deemed necessary to perfect the regularly prescribed system of physical training. train-ing. In the list of outdoor sports are tennis, croquet and volley ball. The extensive grounds surrounding the academy and the well laid out courts and fields afford an opportunity for staging all kinds of outdoor sports. Physical training for the younger students will be given in sessions on Tuesday afternoon from 4 to 5, while instruction for the older students will be given on Monday and Wednesday evenings. |
