WILSON TO VOTE FOR WOMAN'S SUFFRAGE WASHINGTON, Oct 2. President WUson is expected shortly to announce his Intention of voting for the New Jersey state constitutional amendment granting suffrage to women. A special election on the amendment will be held October 19, and tho president will go to Princeton to vote. Secretary Tumulty, whose home Is in Jersey City, said today he expected to vote for the woman suffrage amendment. Tha 'president on several occasions has refused to support an amendment to the federal constitution to give nation-wide woman suffrage. He has said he believed the question to be a Btate Issue. Recently he said he would make known his position posi-tion on woman suffrage before the amendment to the New Jersey constitution constitu-tion was voted on.
