Show MANTI 4 - MA NTT, Nov. (3. The first of a series of silver tea socials arranged bv members of the K. K. class was given at the home of M rs. A. P. Vorhees Tuesday afternoon. A class song, composed com-posed by the (resident, Mrs, Moffitt, was sung by members. Ten women enjoyed en-joyed the social afternoon. Tea was served at 4:30 o'clock. Mrs. Ann Reid of Lund, Nev.. is visiting vis-iting relatives and friends in Manti and Kphraim. Mrs. W. A. 'ox. Jr., entertained Saturday Sat-urday afternoon for her little daughter, Mary, in honor of her tenth birthdav amii versa ry.- The ladies of the Nerdlecraft club were entertained Wednesday nfternoon at the home of Mrs. Luella' Cox. The Mothers' club met Fridav afternoon aft-ernoon with Mrs. L. F. Her her. There were twenty present. Readings were given by Mrs. O. W. Martin. Miss Acn- nia Work and Mrs. J. II. Horning. Mu-I Mu-I sic. was furnished by Mrs. Becker. Refreshments Re-freshments were served by the hostess. Mrs. W. J. Felt of Manti I were guests at a card party given at the home of Dr. and Mrs. ' Linobaugh of Moroni Monday evening. The students of the Manti high school were tendered a reception by the faculty fac-ulty Saturday evening at the high school huilding. The rooms were tastefully decorated for the occasion and refreshments refresh-ments were served. Edna Munk entertained twelve of her , friends F'riday evening, the occasion be- ing her twelfth birthday anniversary. I M usic and games furnished the evening even-ing 's entertainment.
