Another is to lay flat on your back, place your arms behind your head and raise the 'body to a sitting posture. Then lay back again and start as you did at first. Do this from ten to twenty times a day. If you have been following my articles arti-cles closely you ought to have been able to pick out several that would benefit you. Don't forget the old, old exercise of bending over and touching your hands to the floor without crooking the knees. That is one of the first known exercises, but it. is a line one. No, I do not think weight lifting is ever to be recommended as an exercise. It is liable to affect a man like running will. The heart strain Is too great, and besides the muscle that you get from using artificial arti-ficial means doesn't stay with you What you want to do is try to build up natural muscle. The exercise on this page to-day will give you just as much arm development, but will cause you no heart strain if not overdone. A. MARSDEN, New York City. Your weight Is good, but vou are extremely tall for your age and should be very careful not to exercise ex-ercise too much. Cut out the running run-ning at once, and in fact do not indulge in-dulge in any exercise that puts too much of a strain on your heart.
