Show HAROLD I. PRICE IS FIRST PRIZE WINNER Ogdeu Employee of Southern Pacific Leads In Personal Solicitation of Business. Harold 1. Price, son of Mr. aud Mrs. Nr. (J. Price of the Snow apartments, Salt Lake, has been awarded first prize on the Salt Lake division in the Southern South-ern Pacific company's personal solicitation solici-tation of business campaign, according to information received here last night. The first prize is $25 in cash. The campaign cam-paign was open to every employee of the company except those whose duties included the solicitation of business and covered the period from January 1 to lime 30, 1915. Mr. Price is employed in the office of Superintendent T. P. Rowlands of Og-den, Og-den, and has been in the service of the company less than two years. During the period the contest was conducted he was active in soliciting passengdr traffic and being a graduate of the Salt Lake High school as well as of a local business t-ollege his eft'orts were especially espe-cially fruitful among the students of the local schools, lie was largely responsible re-sponsible for the Southern Pacific being chosen the official route for the high school cadets from, the San Francisco exposition. The second and third prize winners on the Salt Lake division were P. C. Smith and T. D. DcMasters, also of OL'den. |
