Show 1 M. d vale Society Events. MIDVALB, Nov. 6. The members of the Ladies' Reading circle were entertained enter-tained last Friday afternoon bv Mrs. Clarence U Colbert at. her residence. Mrs. John Farmer gave a paper on "I'tah's Round-up Day," and Mrs. James E. Rohertson continued the reading of "Marine." Mrs. .loppph Joy will entertain the members of the Five Hundred club next Monday afternoon at her home. The members of the Gold and White Huh were entertained laM Wednesday afternoon by Mrs. Jesse Booth at her home The favors were awarded to Mrs Ray Fenn and Mrs. Albert Strom. Mrs, "William Waters was hostess to a. number of her women friends last Wednesday evening at a card party given at her borne. Mrs. Jesse Booth and Mrs. Yv ill lam O'Brien were awarded the prizes. Luncheon was served. ' The members of the Plate club will be entertained next Thursday afternoon by Mrs. James A. Alcorn at her residence. The scon 1 of a series of silver teas was given last Thursday afternoon by Mrs, Wilmer Booth, Mrs. Fred Spencer, Mrs. L. A. Porter and Mrs. Erlckson a.t the M. E. church. A programme was rendered during the afternoon. The members of the Merrvmakers' Sewing club were entertained last Saturday Satur-day evening by Miss Celia bind at her home. Refreshments were served.
