Show WEST HIGH ELEVEN TO PLAY AT BUTTE Plans have been practically completed complet-ed for a game "between the West high eleven and the Butte high team on Thanksgiving day, the game to be played at Butte. The arrangements require re-quire only the sanction of the local high school authorities. George F. Downer, superintendent of schools at Butte, and a noted Rocky Mountain footballer himself, has made the local school an inviting proposition. Mr. Downer admits that his team is not so strong as the Butte high eleven of last year, but he promises to give the Panthers a battle, anyhow. Chester Grimmett began 'the negotiations negotia-tions for the Butte game while on a, recent trip to the Montiana town, and yesterday 3 decisive victory of the west aiders determined the choice df the teams to make the journey as between the Panthers and the Leopards. i Lieutenant Santschi has been agreed upon as referee for the game. |
