Special Cable to The Tribune. LONDON, Nov. 6. It is reported report-ed that Prince Leopold, heir to the Belgian throne and now a student at Eton, the famous English school, was in London Lon-don on the night of the recent air raid by Zeppelins and was slightly injured. The prince and another Belgian 1 lad, also a student at Eton, went to London on the night of the raid, j intending to spend three days. They i were to be the guests of Count Del-beke, Del-beke, a member of the Belgian royal household, now residing in London. The count's valet met the prince and his friend at Padding- . ton station on their arrival from Eton in the evening. The boys went to a restaurant to dine, intending in-tending to go to a moving picture theater later in the evening. As they came out of the restaurant the bombs began to fall. One exploded ex-ploded about sixty yards from the party. Prince Leopold was knocked ( down by the force of the explosion and his arm was cut by a flying piece of the bomb. The valet and the other boy escaped unhurt. The prince had his arm bound up at a druggist's and subsequently the three went on to the theater. |
