Show SALT LAKE ARTISTS VISITING FAMILIES Two Salt. Lake men who have made . good in Kew York in the world of art are now visiting relatives and friends in the city. They are Muhonri Young, the sculptor, and Ja-k Hold, the artist and magazine illustrator. They have been on the Pacific coast attending the expositions, and alo made a trip through the old Apache. Navajo and H opi Indian sections of Arizona, gathering material for some of their art work. Mr. Young, an example ex-ample of whose work is the sea-gull monument in Temple square, tins a commission com-mission from the Museum of Natural History to produce an Apache Indian group' similar to the I Topi group made by him and Harold MeCormiek last year. Mr. Hold is drawing for Life. Judge and other periodicals, n n 1 iy art director direc-tor of the company which publishes the Smart Set. He ami M r. Young will , return to New York next week. |
