Show MIDWEST OIL BUYS LEASES ON LANDS Special to The Tribune. CASPER, Wyo., Nov. 6. A deal completed com-pleted here today between a syndicate of Tberinopolis, Wyo., men, and the Midwest Oil company, involves the transfer to the latter, for a consideration considera-tion of $o00;000, of leases covering 1100 acres of oil land in the Elk basin, Wyoming, where is situated the Silver Tip anticline. There are a number of producing wells on the leased land. The eight men composing the selling syndicate are said to have contributed I only $r70 each to the syndicate, and on this investment will receive a return of nearly $40,000 each. They are C. L. Woods, A. K. Lec, Thomas Gilles and (rood & Dayton of Therm opnlis; Judge P. W. Met of Basin, Judge W. S. Metz of Sheridan and one other, who is iot a resident of Wyoming. |
