| Show development OF THE HOPE stateline Stat eline oracle joseph johnson the original owner of the hope property has received instructions from W H webber manager for the interstate mining company the crowd who lately purchased that property to commence work in the good hope shaft and accordingly mr johnson and D H adair started work there last monday the hope group consists of eight claims and is one of those properties from which sensational values have been taken and which attracted no more attention among the outsiders than does the johnny until R L seeing that the property upon development was bound to be a producer proceeded to interest some eastern capitalists and now the new crowd intend to open up the property as rapidly as circumstances cum stances will permit and when a sufficient amount of ore is blocked out will build a large concentrating plant to treat the ore the last assay taken from the hope property showed in gold and 1400 ounces in silver and yet no one in the camp was over excited while if such values had been found in any other camp in the west investors would be falling over each other to get hold of some properties in this district the hope group lies south of the johnny and adjoins the venus on the west |
