Show t ' -7 . i : ' ' ' 1,' tr) v JOSEPH HUTCHINSON Funeral Services Held Joseph Harold Hutchinson, 64, 315 East 400 South, Bountiful, Boun-tiful, chief mechanical engineer en-gineer for Utah Power & Light Co., died of a heart attack at-tack Friday while vacationing in Washington, Pa. MR. HUTCHINSON had worked for UP&L 40 years. He was special projects engineer and had been superintendent of the firm's Hale Steam Plant in provo Lanvon. Mr. Hutchinson was chairman chair-man of the Utah Section of the , American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He also al-so belonged to the Utah Engineering En-gineering Council and the Utah Society of Professional Engineers. He was a past president of the Edgemont Lions Club in Provo and was a member of the Bountiful Elks Lodge. HE WAS born April 14, 1911, in Farr West. Weber County, to Joseph Frederick and Hazel Erickson Hutchinson. Hutchin-son. He spent much of his early life in Metropolis, Nev., and graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in mechanical engineering. en-gineering. He married Dovie Marian Johnson on June 5, 1937, in Salt Lake City. HE WAS a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include his wife; sons and daughter, Harold Lee, Houston, Texas; Leslie Byron, Nashville, Tenn.; Bruce Neil, Salt Lake City; Stephen Floyd, Twin Rivers, N.J.; Judith Dovie, Bountiful; Boun-tiful; 14 grandchildren; his father, Salt Lake City; brother, sisters, Melvin, McGill, Nev.; Mrs. Lyle (Ivy) Tiller, Mountain Pass, Calif.; Mrs. Dan (Olive) Green Henderson, Nev.; Mrs. Allen (Wanda) Conelly, Hawthorne, Nev.; half brothers and half sisters, James, Don, Mrs. . Andrew (Marie) Iverson, Mrs. David (Maxine) Thorn-sen, Thorn-sen, all Salt Lake City; Ida Rae, Altamont, Duchesne County. FUNERAL services were held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Bountiful 21st Ward Chapel with Bishop Richard G. Sharp conducting. , . Prelude music, Emma Hanks; invocation, Frank N. Davis; remarks. Bishop Richard G. Sharp; violin duet. Penny Mackay and Mary Clarke, accompanied by Tauna Lee Homer. Speaker, Carl L. Quist: benediction, L. Scott Johnson. DEDICATION OF grave was by Merrill Hutchinson. Pallbearers were William L. Christensen. Gene Haag, Donald F. Hutchinson, Lee S. Johnson, Albert M. Vise, and Morris W. Wiscombe. FUNERAL directors.
