She has completed the BYU Survival Course (Youth Leadership) twice and was a summer swimming instructor instruc-tor from iynti-1970. She is energetic and enthusiastic about anything she undertakes under-takes to do. BETWEEN school, working and enjoying life she has served a full-time mission for the LDS Church in Kcquador. Through this time she learned to speak Spanish fluently. The new Davis County ln- lormation and Keterrai service ser-vice has been established to receive phone calls, visits, and correspondence from Davis County citizens. They will then assess the problems and determine which service could best assist them and refer the client to the appropriate source of help. THEY WILL then follow through and make sure the individual received the help requested. There will be an Information and Referral Advisory Ad-visory Committee set up within the community and a current Social Service director direc-tor for Davis County is being established. One of their main goals will be to meet the individual's wants and needs If they find a need for which they do not presently have a service they will make every effort to bung this to the attention of the Davis County officials and work to assist them in 1 I . j , ! i i NANCY MILLER providing it. or will seek out and train community volunteers volun-teers to meet the needs. THE information and Referral Service will be administered ad-ministered by the United Way of Davis County. The United Way has helped to pioneer Information and Referral Services across the Country. By administering this service under the United Way. it will reduce the overhead and make it more economical. The new service can be reached at one of these two toll free numbers between 8 Mi a.m. and 5 pm.
