The person who helped me to formulate this unscientific quiz is Capt. George Q. Nielsen Niel-sen of the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Departmnt. HE HAS dealt with hundreds of juvenile lawbreakers. Capt. Nielsen thinks a "yes" answer, honestly given to each question ques-tion is extremely important to help children be happy, well-adjusted well-adjusted and unlikely to become juvenile lawbreakers. I agree with him. Suggestion: After you've taken the quiz, why not hand it to your child and let him or her answer the questions for you? l), Major Smith, local CAP commander, said. "CIVIL AIR Patrol each year offers approximately "40,000 in renewable scholarships and grants," he said, "and they go to CAP members." Right now, he pointed out. Civil Air Patrol national headquarters at Maxwell AFB, Ala., is considering con-sidering applications from CAP members for these scholarships. "If you were a member of Civil Air Patrol, your application could be in that number. However, joining Civil Air Patrol is no guarantee guaran-tee of receiving one of these scholarships," the commander com-mander emphasized. "Even if you don't succeed in winning a scholarship, you'll have a challenging time in: CAP," Major Smith promised. HE IS commander of the Bountiful Composite Squadron, local CAP unit. |
