He is presently employed by Freeway Heating and is an apprentice electrician for Samon Electric. He is a 1977 honor graduate of Viewmont High School, where he was active in seminary activities. He has completed one year at the Utah Technical College in Salt Lake City. He is an Eagle Scout and has earned his Bronze, Gold and Silver Palms, has served as Deacons Quorum president. Teachers Quorum president, and as assistant to the bishop while in the Priests Quorum.
