Show i Golden Years Sets Varied Activities The Golden Years Center is welcoming a new secretary, Jean Stoker, a former Bountiful Boun-tiful resident. She is getting acquainted with activities at the center and will greet you there. THE GOLDEN Years spring bazaar on Saturday, May 6, will be another special event for everyone to enjoy. The public is invited to come in and see the many beautiful crafts which are being made by the senior citizens. There will be a white elephant table and home baked goodies will also be on sale. Anyone is welcome to contribute articles for the white elephant table or baked products for the benefit of the center. PLEASE CALL the center, 295-3479 if you wish to contribute con-tribute to this special table, ' which will be a benefit for a special fund at the center. Also call if you have not reserved your table for this sale, senior citizens must reserve a table for their articles, ar-ticles, at a cost of $5. The Governor's Conference on Aging will be held in the Salt Palace on Tuesday, May 9. Everyone is invited to attend at-tend this special event beginning begin-ning at 10 a.m. for the entire state senior citizens. Reservations Reser-vations for lunch should be made at the center to be turned in to the state committee com-mittee by April 28. Lunch will be $1. REGISTRATION will be 9-10 a.m. in the Salt Palace. The conference session opens at 10 a.m. with posting of the colors by World War I Veterans, the pledge of Allegiance and welcome by chairman W.G. Larson. There will be a review of recommendations on the program, from the six area conferences held earlier this year and there will be a response re-sponse by Governor Scott M. Matheson. DAN VALENTINE of the Salt Lake Tribune will give the keynote address. There will be a report "Look to the Future" and presentation of Senior Olympics awards and presentation of Heritage Arts Festival awards. Sew-J tizens will display eihit i their arts and crate.
