Show Open House to Honor lane Patterson On 85th Birthday PARAGON AH: Mrs. Jane Pat-terson Pat-terson will be honored at an open op-en house celebration on Sunday, July 6 at the home of her son Wilson Lund in Paragonah. Mrs. Patterson observed her 85th birthday birth-day last December but the celebration cele-bration was planned for this more convenient time when all of her children will be together. All friends and relatives are Invited to call between the hours of 3 and 7 p. m. Mrs. Patterson was born Sarah Jane Williamson on Dec. 23, 1872 at Paragonah, Utah. She was the fifth child of William and Mar-tha Mar-tha Knowles Williamson. She spent her childhood and early girlhood at Paragonah during the winter months and at Little Creek ranch and at the ranch on the mountains east of town during dur-ing the summer, milking cows land making cheese and butter. On Nov. 16, 1898 she married Wilson Lund In the St. George Temple. Three children were born to them, Retta, Lola and Wilson. On June 15, 1907, just nine years after their marriage, Wilson died, leaving Jane with the three small children. Five years later she went to Beaver to work. Here she met and later married Joseph A. Pat-teison, Pat-teison, whose wife had died, leaving a family of small children, chil-dren, the vouneest one belne just three months old. She mothered moth-ered his children as well as her own. To this union three children were born. Bob, Adolph and Leah. Since Mr. Patterson's death some years ago Jane has spent most of her time with her children. - ' v 1 MRS. JANE PATTERSON |
