Show Dixie Drops To Third Place When Beaten By Enterprise 61-33 Cedar Beats Hurricane To Move Into Tie With Typhoons For First Dixie high school dropped to third place in the league standings as the result of their rout at Enterprise Enter-prise last Friday night 61-33. Cedar City moved up to a tie for first with Hurricane when they defeated the Typhoons at Hurricane Hurri-cane Saturday 41-36. Whether the Flyers can come back and get into the race will be determined Saturday night when Enterprise comes down for a return game. Played Championship Ball Enterprise had everything that any coach could hope for last week. The boys played championship champion-ship ball throughout. They rang in counters from any angle with deadly accuracy, including foul pitching. They played a dazzling floor game and got away from the Dixie defense for many a setup. set-up. This type of play did not continue at Parowan Monday evening, eve-ning, however, and the Rams upset up-set Enterprise 36-32. The Dixie team showed some signs Saturday of coming out of its slump, but it was no match for the Blue and Gold. Coach Hafen reports that the boys are going great guns this week and that they hope to reverse re-verse the situation with Enterprise. Enter-prise. Regardless of who wins, this game is a natural, and will give plenty of thrills. If Dixie can win this one, she will be hard to stop from here out. At present pres-ent the Flyers are but one game behind the league leaders. Tonight the Flyers entertain the Parowan Rams in what promises prom-ises to be a good game, with the locals being given the edge in spite of the mere one-point win at Parowan recently and of the Rams' upset of Enterprise. Cedar Here Next Week Next Saturday the Cedar City Redmen are scheduled to play on the local floor. How important this game will be depends on the outcome of this week's games.
