Show Ground Course of CPT To Start Here Monday, February 9th The ground course of the spring unit of the civil pilot training will start Feb. 9. The flight training will start soon thereafter. The age limit has been lowered to eighteen years, and all students stu-dents who can qualify can get the training without cost. The government gov-ernment is now paying for the phvsical examinations and for the insurance. The fall unit students all took and passed their flight tests recently. re-cently. Those completing their flight training in this group are: Joseph Bladk, John Belingheri, Neal Asay, Truman Bowler, Ballard Bal-lard Hafen, Dwayne Bryner, La-Moine La-Moine Lamb, Quinn Chamberlain and Alma Woodbury. The cross country unit operating operat-ing here was moved from Santa Paula, Calif., after the outbreak of the war. W. B. Bassett is the head of the school. Ray Hobbs is head instructor, assisted by Joe Rafferty. M. J. Miles teaches the ground course for the cross country coun-try unit at the Dixie junior college. |
