Show WASHINGTON Mrs. Lenzy Hoopes Reporter Mrs. Zina Prisbrey and daughter, Betty, visited at Kanarra Saturday Satur-day with their daughter and sister, Mrs. Willard Williams. Max Prisbrey, Kay Cooper and Seymour Schmutz. who are employed em-ployed at Cedar City, spent the week end here with relatives. The Washington camp of the D. LT. P. met at the home of Captain Cap-tain Martha Tanner last Thursday. Thurs-day. The lesson was given by Rocha Paxman. The history was given by Suzannah Prisbrey. Officers foi the year were elected as follows: Captain, Vilate Neilson; secretary, Nellene Averett; historian, Martha Tanner; registrar, Lydia Hall with Annie Hall as assistant; chorister, Orpha Gould. Refreshments were served to the group. Miss Verle Paxman accompanied her father, Haven Paxman, to Boulder City Sunday. She plans to seek employment there. The M. I. A. officers have seen fit to change Mutual to Tuesday evening instead of Sunday as has been the practice all winter. |
