Show Work Reported Going Ahead On West Ward Chapel Building Work is once more going ahead on the West ward chapel, announces an-nounces Bishop James Andrus and since their material is all on the grounds, and has been for months, awaiting suitable building weather, it is expected the building will be rushed to early completion, other conditions permitting. This week the concrete piers and abutments are being run and bricklaying for the walls is to begin next week, according to plans. Time keepers are on the grounds all the time, Monday over Saturday, and will be happy to direct men of the ward or men of any ward of the stake who care to contribute an hour or more to the completion of this building, giving them official credit for same. It is felt that every building now underway sufficiently suf-ficiently should be completed and that such programs will naturally bolster the morale of the citizens who are available. Bishop Andrus also announces that Royden Braithwaite, head of the L. D. S. Institute of Religion in St. George has taken over the work of instructing the special interests group of the West ward M. I. A. A special study of the works of B. II. Ptoberts was introduced in-troduced last Tuesdav evening before be-fore a large class. This group invites in-vites all who are interested to attend. |
