Show Cottage Meetings Still Hold Interest In St. George Cottage meetings continue to hold interest in local stake missionary activties. On Monday evening 32 neighbors and friends assembled at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Mithcell, the meeting being in charge of Lorenzo Leavitt and John M. Stucki of Santa Clara, and Mrs. Deslie L. Anderson and Mrs. Clara ,C. Burgess of St. George. Musical numbers for the evening eve-ning included male quartets under the direction of Bishop Henry Graff of Santa Clara. Speaker for the evening was Robert Hopkins, former L. D. S. missionary, who gave an interesting discourse on Gospel principles. Missionary visiting is also going go-ing forward this week at Ivins, where a cottage meeting is being held this (Thursday) evening at the home of Bishop Reuben Ence under direction of E. A. Everett, Ralph Carter, Eliza Carpenter and Marian Woodard with west district dis-trict president Gilbert Hyatt as speaker. |
