Show Saturday, Feb. 14 Is labor Day' On Tabernacle Grounds Saturday, Feb. 14, has been definitely def-initely set for, the spring renovation renova-tion and labor day on the St. George stake Tabernacle grounds, announces Pres. Harold S. Snow. Plans have been okehed for the landscaping and the committee in charge are requesting all men in the stake who are able to contribute con-tribute that one day to this phase of stake beautification. Men, single-handed with shovels, rakes, hoes and forks, men with teams and wagons, and men with trucks or pick-ups are requested to report re-port on that day, either for the full day, a half day or whatever time they can spare for hauling soil and fertilizer, spading and the other work outlined for the project. While many of the plans previously previ-ously made are being set aside because of present-day conditions and requirements, it is felt this programs of getting the grounds of such a public building in shape for carrying out the beautification program in 1 this connection, is worthy of consideration. Bishops of wards adjacent to St. George are being asked to contact their priest hood members and organize them for work on this project so that the most possible will be accomplished ac-complished on this day. |
