Show Wayne Leroy Cook BOUNTIFUL-Wayne Leroy Cook, age 66, passed away March 30, 1990 from pancreatic cancer. He was born May 16, 1923 in Gerald W. Cook, Layton; Nancy Lee Orton, Tacoma, Wash.; five grandchildren; grand-children; one great-grandchild; mother, Doris Ellen Cook, Arkansas City, Kan.; brothers, Gilbert cook, Arkansas City, Kan.; Arthur Cook, Silverdale, Kan.; Gene Cook, Kansas City, Mo.; Tom Cook, Arkansas City, Kan.; sisters, Vivian Morgan, Esparto, Espar-to, Calif.; Joan Wilson, Arkansas City, Kan.; and Marlene Alsip, Arkansas City, Kan. Funeral services were held April 2. Interment was in the Bountiful City Cemetery. Funeral directors: Lindquist's Lind-quist's Bountiful Mortuary. Arkansas City, Kan., a son of Oral M. and Doris Ellen Harman Cook. He married Betty Ruth Sandefur May 22, 1942 in Winfield, Kan. He worked in Montana, Illinois, Oklahoma, Wyoming and M LiZJ Utah. He has lived in Utah the last 30 years. He was a student in the Arkansas City, Kan. schools and studied at the Utah Technical College, University of Nebraska and University of Utah. He was baptized in the Christian Church of Geuda Springs, Kan., and held offices in that church as well as in the First Baptist Church of Rawlins, Wyo. and the First Baptist Church of Bountiful. He was a Notary Public for a number of years. He is survived by bis wife, Betty, Bountiful; one son and one daughter, |
