Show Full-service veterinary clinic offers convenience By JAMS STUART CENTERVILLEDogs, cats, birds and exotic pets now have the Parrish Creek Veterinary Clinic, a full-service veterinary hospital providing pro-viding preventative health care as well as surgery and diagnostics. Sick and injured animals can find aid at the Parrish Creek Veterinary Clinic, 124 W. Parrish Lane, Centerville. Dr. Doug Folland and his staff provide services that include dental care and bathing for pets. The clinic has a unique drop-off service for pet owners who work. The animal can be provided with necessary services during the day and be picked up after work. For customer convenience, Parrish Creek Veterinary Clinic has evening hours on Tuesday and Thursday. Folland explains, "We have a special interest in caring for birds." That special interest carries over to his home where he has two Amazon parrots that he has trained to talk. Naturally, part of their vocabulary includes "I love you." A graduate of Oregon State University Uni-versity College of Veterinary Medicine, Med-icine, Folland practiced six years in Miami, Fla. There he developed a large clientele of exotic bird breeders and managed a satellite clinic for the practice. Folland, his wife Sharon and daughter Rachel moved to Utah about six months ago. The Parrish Creek Veterinary Clinic plans to add grooming to its services, as well as to expand surgical capabilities. |
