Students at each of the four south Davis County high schools can be proud of the outstanding athletes who represented their schools. Chosen as Most Valuable Player on the boys' 4-A team is Dave Newby of Davis High. Son of Con-ley Con-ley and Judy Newby, the senior forward remembered his performance perfor-mance in the Davis at Bonneville game as his best "I scored 29 points and we won. Ty's future plans include attending the University of Utah to study physical therapy. Sean Ihler, a senior forward at Viewmont High, chose a game with Bountiful as his most memorable. "We played Bountiful at our place. Even though we aren't in the same region anymore, it was still fun. I know all of those guys and I like to play against them. It was also my best game of the season ' he added. Sean's sense of humor may get him drafted if recruiters from the right team are listening.
