Show Chard files for office Chard is married to Sheila DeMille and has five children. Layton resident, Blake D. Chard, has announced his candidacy for Davis County Commissioner. Chard feels he has the necessary experience, training and knowledge of how the county should be ad- j BLAKE D. CHARD ministered. He wishes to "restore the people's confidence, the county employee's trust and the state's respect." Chard is currently an engineering specialist for TRW who provides technical support to the Air Force in the area of computer controlled automatic test equipment. He received a master of public administration degree from Brigham Young University in 1982. Chard also served as a medic in the U.S. Army with the 2nd Battalion Bat-talion 1 1th Field Artillery in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii from 1973 to 1976. From 1978 to 1985 he was a member of the Commission on Juvenile Juv-enile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. For six years Chard was a deputy sheriff in Davis County. |
