Show C. Douglas Barnes B OUNTIFUL-Charles Douglas Barnes, age 91, died Friday, March 30, 1990 in a South Ogden Care Center. He was born Jan. 28, 1899 in Salt Lake City, the son of Arthur Franklin and, Elizabeth Sansom Barnes. He married mar-ried Luella Strong i June 6, 1923 in the I Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. Barnes Iiv- fcfr '9 ' Zealand. Member of the Board of Presidents of the New Zealand Mission. Mis-sion. Was active in the LDS Church serving in many capacities, recently serving as a sealer in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Survivors include: children, Helen B. McEldowney, Norwalk, Calif.; Phyllis B. Booth, Chicago, El.; Dean A. Barnes, Ogden; Nancy B. Brindley, Alta Loma, Calif. Also surviving sur-viving are 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ralph A. Barnes. Preceded in death by his wife, Luella and 2 grandsons. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Tues-day, April 3, 1990 at the Bountiful 21st Ward, 650 S. 200 E. Viewing one hour prior to services. Interment in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary.
