Show Suspect detained after bank robbery Lutin Andrew Scott, also known as Lutin Hampton, was taken into custody March 29, by Davis County Utah Highway Patrol officers. Scott was apprehended after an 'attempt to locate,' describing the a vehicle and a suspect, was issued following a robbery at First Interstate In-terstate Bank, 1950 W. 5600 S. in Roy. Troopers Tracy Cartwright and Jeff Graviet detained the 1977 Ford Elite in Farmington. The driver, described at 5' 11', 145 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair and approximately 30 years of age, was also a suspect in other robberies. Scott has resided in the Salt Lake City and Bountiful areas. Scott was booked into the Davis County Jail and later transferred to the Salt Lake County Jail by the Federal Bureau of Investigation where he is awaiting an appearance before the U. S. Magistrate. The apprehension of the suspect was a joint effort between the Salt Lake County Sheriffs Office, West Valley Police Department, Davis County Sheriffs Office, Utah Highway Patrol, Roy City Police Department and the Salt Lake City Division of the FBI. t |
