Show CJH students qo to regional history fair Cella, Todd Allen, Levi Uffens and Phillip Brenchley; third place, Evan Riddle, Brian Cloward, Brett Humphrey, Hum-phrey, Rick Bingham and Ben Schmidt Congratulations to these winners to their teachers, Mrs. Remington, Mrs. Carmack and Mrs. Speer. Over 50 Centerville Junior High students attended the history fair held at Weber State College March 15. Several of the CJH entries were winners at the regional fair and now move on to the State History Fair competition to be held at BYU April 3. District winners from Centerville Junior were: junior division performance, per-formance, first place, Brooke Davies; senior division performance, perfor-mance, first place, Amy Kartchner and Kara Huggard; research papers, first place, Ben Thompson; projects, pro-jects, first place, Syd Monson; second se-cond place, Sam Larsen, Tyler V"" ' Cameron Black (left), son of Mr. and Mrs. Craig Black and Dustin Olson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Olson, represented Oak Hills School in the Region III PTA Reflections contest in February. Cameron, a kinderaarten student, won the K-3 photography pho-tography category at Oak Hills, then progressed to the South Davis Council level and then to Region III competition. Dustin, a fifth grader, submitted a watercolor which won at local and council levels before competing in the region competition in the 4th-6th grade visual arts category. Theme of this year's nationally sponsored PTA contest was "Where Does the Sky End?" |
