They did not wait for the government gov-ernment to finance the project. With the creative efforts of many people in the nation of America, towns, cities and large metropolitan areas were built. Schools, roads and highways high-ways were built through the taxes of many people. Libraries Librar-ies were built through the goodness of Andrew Carnegie, who was a selfmade millionaire. mil-lionaire. The city of West Bountiful is building a new park off 1600 N., Pages Lane. It will require the help of many citizens since there are no federal funds or no Andrew Carnegies to do the job. The park is to the point where it needs trees. Small trees are not hardy enough to withstand the rigors of the weather in the area. Therefore, it is necessary that people of the city rally together to donate don-ate trees for the park. It is suggested that neighborhoods, neigh-borhoods, families, or former West Bountifulites unite to purchase trees which are 5-6 feet tall. Stakes and ropes must also be donated to support the trees. Trees should be donated near to Arbor Day, the last Friday Fri-day in April. Again it is important for citizens to clean up and fix up their buildings and yards. It would be a good project for all to pick up waste paper and other debris they see. The March meeting of the newly formed Carriage House Camp, DUP, was held at the home of Terry Badham March 4.
