The facility will be the product of a joint venture involving Tucker. Dee's, and the Design Works, Inc., Salt Lake City , manufacturer of the hydrotube. THE HYDROTUBE is the brainchild of Design Works. Inc., the firm that created and developed the sophisticated slide, which is 4': feet in diameter. He pointed out that the water wa-ter sports facilities would enable en-able Woods Cross Bountiful area families to "stay close to home and find good quality and wholesome recreation, which has usually been available avail-able only in metropolitan areas. TUCKER DESCRIBED the hydrotube as "the most advanced adv-anced waterslide available-... available-... which has fully proven itself in providing many millions of fun rides throughout the West." Over 20 hydrotubes will be in operation throughout the U.S. by this summer season. r |
