Show Bountiful News Ida Double and Mildred Cristensen came home March 31, and Norris and Velda Brown returned April 4. They have both been in Yuma, Ariz. Paul and ArJean Lamoreaux have moved into the neighborhood neighbor-hood on Orchard Drive. Welcome. Wel-come. The Swanee Singers will present a concert at Highland High School April 19 at 7 p.m. The price is $2 a person or $5 a family. Jim and Marilyn Hayes are visiting Bishop Gary and Joan Wall. They are from California and are in Bountiful to hear Brian Wall give his report, which he did on March 28. Steve Nelson also gave his report re-port at that time. Brian and Steve were in the California Mission together. Mildred Bray is going to California to tend her sons children while her son goes on vacation. She then will travel to Germany to visit her two daughters and grandchildren who live there. President Cork from Newcastle, New-castle, England is visiting Clifton Clif-ton and Josephine Johnson. The Special Interest Group spent the evening at the home of Nora Mae Graham, where they listened to a tape of a speach given by Pres. Spencer W. Kimball. The subject was "The Absolute Truth." There will be a 4th Ward dinner din-ner on April 13. Be sure to circle cir-cle that date on your calendar. The chapel and cultural hall of the 4th, 20th and 36th Ward building will be out of commission commis-sion for two weeks. They are painting and recarpeting. Evalyn Madsen has postponed post-poned leaving on her mission to Hawaii. She must have surgery on her foot. Barbara Gelder has been appointed to be the new editor of the 4th Ward "Broadcaster." "Broad-caster." Robert Rudd was ordained an elder in the LDS Church. The teachers of the 4th Ward went to area competition which was held at Ogden East Stake March 30. They won that game and went on to win their game March 31 which gave them consolation in area competition. Brent Blackham was the coach. The children of Clyde Brown surprised and honored him and his wife Lelah March 28 for a wedding anniversary. They were married 25 years ago on March 27. After enjoying en-joying a cake at Clyde's home the group traveled to Centerville Center-ville to the home of Gen and Ede Randall where Clyde's daughter, Ilene, and her husband, hus-band, Deon Randall, were surprised sur-prised with a cake to honor them on their 25th wedding anniversary. They were married mar-ried March 23. The Birthday Corner this week has Glen Simmons, Shelly Shel-ly Woodall, Shannon Woodall, Taz Smith, Maria Tucker and Arnold Pace who are wished many happy returns.
