Show Hunter Safety Classes I Will Begin The Bountiful Jeep Posse is offering a hunter education class that will begin April 20. Registration for the class will be April 13 at 7 p.m. The registration reg-istration and classes will be held at the Bountiful Jeep Posse Pos-se clubhouse located at 250 W. 1050 W.. Bountiful. There will be a $4 charge per students. CLASSES ARE held one night a week for five weeks plus one Saturday morning. There will be a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday night class available. Anyone under the age of 21 must have successfully completed com-pleted a hunter education class before obtaining a hunting license in Utah. The class covers cov-ers such things as hunter ethics, conservation, firearms, gun handling, archery, survival, surviv-al, first-aid and much more. Parents are invited to attend this very informative course. Students should be at least 1 1 -' years old. TO COMPLETE the course a student must have 100 percent per-cent attendance, pass a written ' exam, a field exam, and a test in marksmanship. The shooting shoot-ing test is always w here the -students have the most trou--ble. Parents having sons and " daughters w ho have never shot ' a rifle before are encouraged to : take them out and practice be- ' fore the test. Self-confidence is ' very important in the shooting portion of the test. The Bountiful Jeep Posse is proud to beableto offer this class to the public. They have been giving hunter education classes for many years. Thousands of Davis County : residents have taken advantage advan-tage of them.
