Show LAPOIMT Mrs. Mabel Jenkins Horse Kicks Boy In Mouth Clinton Neilson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Liane Neilson, met with a very painful accident Monday morning when his horse kicked at another horse and kicked him in the mouth. It was necessary for the doctor to take 14 stitches in his mouth and chin and one in his tongue. Mrs. Pearless Taylor returned home after spending a week in Salt Lake City with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dwain Richens and daughter. Mrs. Lavina Smith, of Steamboat Steam-boat Springs, Colo., spent the week with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Sike Thompson. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Neumever were Vernal visitors recently. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Woolley are grandparents of a baby boy, born to Mr. and Mrs. Lynn McClure at the Roosevelt Hospital, Nov. 5th. Mrs. Pearl' Woolley also is a great-grandmother. great-grandmother. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Steele and small children, of Rangely, Colo., were overnight guests of Mrs. Steel's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hay-den Hay-den Foster, last week. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Dean Preece of Craig, Colo., were visitors of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins, Sr. They were returning re-turning '' to their home after a honeymoon trip through California. Mrs. Sarah Norton returned home Thursday night from Salt Lake City, where she has been visiting vis-iting her sons, LaMar and Art Norton, Nor-ton, and Elroy Norton and family at Orem. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Bigelow recently were Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Perry and chil- dren, of Dragerton. SUNSHINE CLUB HONORS MEMBERS The Sunshine Club held a birthday birth-day party at Mrs. Lillie Bigel'ow'.s home in honor of Mrs. Bigelow. A gift was presented and refreshments refresh-ments served. 'Bunco was played and Mrs. Mary Lou Huber gave a couple of selections on her piano accordian. Those present were Mrs. Ardith Huber, Mrs. Mable Jenkins, Mrs. Annie Warburton, Mrs. Ethel Taylor, Mrs. Mary Jarrell, Mrs. Barbara Nyberg, Mrs. Mae Sprouse, Mrs. Hattie Foster, Mrs. Thelma Winn, Mrs. Jessie Newmeyer, Mrs. Pearl. Woolley, Mrs. Pearl Perry and Mrs. Vera Caldwell. Warren Labrum, of Las Vegas. Nevada, spent last weekend with his mother, Mrs. Pearl Labrum, and family. Warren has employment employ-ment at the Grand Central Market in Las Vegas. O. W. Justice and son, Robert, were in Salt Lake City during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Justice and children, of Salt Lake City, spent last weekend with Mr. Justice's Jus-tice's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Olie Justice, and family. A brother, Garth, accompanied them home. Mr. and Mrs. Max Daley and children, of Grand Junction, Colo., spent last weekend with Mrs. Pearl Labrum and family. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Taylor and daughter, Carol Liddell, of Bridge-land, Bridge-land, were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bigelow recently. Mr. and Mrs. Orvill Swain and sons, Von and Owen, and daughter, LaRce, left Saturday for a vacation trip to Southern California. They will be guests of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Mar-vin Ottosen, and son, of Haywood, Calif. Rodney Horrocks, of Craig, Colo., spent the weekend with his family. Mr. and Mrs. EIRoy (Butch) Wil- kins and sons, Ladd and Brent, of Roosevelt, were visiting Mrs. Wil-kins' Wil-kins' parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bigelow, recently. DUP MET RECENTLY The Daughters of Utah Pioneers met at the home of Mrs. Elizabeth Harrison Thursday and quilted a quilt for Ramona. Mrs. Sybil MeKeanchie, of Salt Lake, spent last weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Perry and son, Randy, of Crow CreeK. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Penfield, of Otkland, Calif., visited Mr. and Mrs. Weston Justice and family and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Clark and family, of Gusher. Mr. and Mrs. Sike Thompson attended at-tended the Eastern Star banquet at the Frontier Grill in Roosevelt, Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Woolley are grandparents of a baby girl, born to Mr. and Mrs. Weldon Woolley at Sidney, Nebraska. Mrs. Woolley I left Tuesday evening by bus to get acquainted with her new granddaughter. grand-daughter.
