Show Boy Scouts Have Overnight Trip The Boy Scout members of Myton My-ton Troop No. 253 participated in an overnight camping trip on the Duchesne River east of town, Wednesday night. Scoutmaster Wilmer Murray and his assistant, Jerry Murray, were in charge of the group. An extra guest was Darrel'l Murray, a member of the Cub Scouts. It seems the boys can really enjoy a camping trip re-ardless re-ardless of wintry weather and are not daunted by anything so mild as near zero weather. Guests at the ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. Devon Gentry last week were Mr. and Mrs. Lester Blan-chard Blan-chard and family of Centerville, Mr. and Mis. Stuart Bingham, Mr. and Mrs. MacRohwedder and Dave Reese, all of Salt Lake City. Mr. Reese, a frequent visitor, is well-known well-known here. The group enjoyed pheasant hunting whiie here. Dinner guests at the ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Dart, Wednesday Wed-nesday evening, were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Griffin, of Whiterocks. Among those from out of town who attended the services at the Presbyterian church, Sunday, were Mr. and Mrs. E. B. "Lundberg and family and Mrs. Emil Munz of Duchesne;. Du-chesne;. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ferron Fer-ron and children, Fred Ferron, of Roosevelt, and Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Linke of Bridgeland. At the close of the services, a delicious luncheon was served to the pastor and members of the congregation. The Ladies Aid presented pre-sented Rev. MacDougall with a nice gift consisting of a crib quilt and dainty sacque for his infant daughter, born in early November. The members and all who have attended at-tended the services held here sincerely sin-cerely regret the departure of Rev. MacDougall and wish him well' in his new pastorate and home. Sunday School classes will be held each Sunday at 11 a.m. and both children and adults are invited invit-ed to attend was the announcement made by Mrs. Ted Thomas, Sunday Sun-day School superintendent. Mrs. Matt Uresk, Sr., who has been ill during the past weeks, was receiving visitors Sunday and is gradually improving, which greatly pleases her many friends. Mrs. H. C. Cooper is renovating and redecorating the former Ross Harmon store and anticipates opening op-ening "Ludy's Clothing and Gift Shop" this week. .This will be a welcome addition to the business places in Myton. Mrs. Emery Nielsen left Monday for Golden, Colo., where she will spend the winter months with her two daughters and sons-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Elton Quick. |
