Show Estimated 1956 Revenue Could Equal $1 85,735.00 Income Should Exceed 1955 For County Funds Duchesne County's statement of estimated revenue for 1956 shows a total of $185,735, reports Porter L. Merrell, county clerk. On anticipation an-ticipation of this amount, a tentative ten-tative budget of $180,355 has been proposed by the county commissioners commis-sioners for the coming year, compared com-pared with a $173,645 adopted I budget for 1955. Estimated revenue' figures show $83,635 for estimated tax revenue. iThis figure is calculated by using an estimated 10.5 mill' levy on an $8,200,000 assessed evaluation, making a total of $86,100; subtracting sub-tracting 15 per cent or $12,915 for uncollected taxes, leaving a $73.-185 $73.-185 total estimate; adding $10,450 estimated tax sale redemptions. Sundry revenues anticipated in the general fund total $41,600 and are: $10,300 from departmental fees; $4,000 from fines and forfeitures; for-feitures; $11,000 from assessing and collecting taxes; $1,000 from juror and witness fees;, $7,400 from liquor control commission; $2,500 from oil and gas teases; $2,400 from storage and rent; $1,500 from upkeep of the courthouse court-house building, from city and school district; $1,500 from miscellaneous mis-cellaneous sources. Other sundry revenues include the forest reserve fees to be credited cred-ited to the road fund, $6,000; $50,-000 $50,-000 is anticipated from the' Class "B" road fund (.state auto' registration); regis-tration); $1,700 is expected from the sale of chemicals to credit the noxious weed eradication fund; and $2,800 is to be paid to the courthouse building fund by Duchesne' Du-chesne' City. Total estimated sundry revenue is $102,100; total tax revenue estimated es-timated is $83,635 out of the $185,-735 $185,-735 grand total of estimated expendable ex-pendable revenue for Duchesne County in 1956. |
