Show Ethel Beebe TeacBters Training Course Given The Moon Lake stake Sunday School is sponsoring an 8-weeks' teachers training class in the Altamont Al-tamont Seminary building at 8:15 a.m. every Sunday. .The first class started Sunday, Nov. 13. AH. those interested in teaching are invited to come. Those attending from Al-tonah Al-tonah were Mrs. Mable Maxfield, Mrs. Nada Murray and Mrs. LaWa-na LaWa-na Timothy. LaVar Morris took his wife to the Roosevelt hospital, Nov. 12, for medical care. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Bird and son, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend of Nov. 12th with Mrs. Bird's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lin-ford Lin-ford Maxfield. Mr. and Mrs. Clenty Ames and two small children spent the week- end in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Ames' sister, Mrs. Helen Hardie, who just returned from Alaska, came home with them for a visit before leaving leav-ing for Japan soon to be with her husband, who is working for the government. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wirthlin and family, of Salt Lake City, spent the week of Nov. 12 with Mrs. Wirthlin's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Ames. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Smith and family, of Mack, Colo., spent the weekend with Grant's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Smith. Mrs. Minnie Lue Stevenson, who is employed in Salt Lake City, and Garry Jessen, who is employed in Orem, spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jessen and with Minnie Lue's small daughter, who is staying with her grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Jennis Oman and family, of Salt Lake, came in Friday Fri-day evening to visit Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Jacobson. Mrs. Lee Anderson and family, of Salt Lake City, recently visited her brothers, Louie Bowden, and Clinton Bowden and family. Coralie Maxfield was a guest at the home of 7Ir. and Mrs. Ferris Henrie of Neola over the weekend. FIVE INCHES OF SNOW The first snow of the season fell Sunday night, Nov. 13. There were 5 inches of very wet snow and 16 inches at Moon Lake Electric Power plant on the Yellowstone. Willard Bowden left for Salt Lake City Sunday, Nov. 13 to find employment. Mrs. Dewey Jessen and new daughter were able to come home from the Roosevelt Hospital Tuesday, Nov. 15. They are going to name the young Miss Deborah. |
