Homes should be decorated by Dec. 18 and judging will take place Dec. 23. Merchants are also encouraged to decorate their places of business. busi-ness. The following committees have been appointed to help with all phases of the Christmas celebration: celebra-tion: candy, Socialette; helping Santa distribute treats, Lions club;, judging of decorated homes, BPW; caroling, Culture Club; finance, Chamber of Commerce; Main Street lighting, Kiwanis Club; community com-munity Christmas tree, American Legion; advertising, Rev. David Pate; and Santa Claus, Roosevelt Second LDS ward, with Mrs. Bill Ostler as chairman. Any business, school or church wishing to have Santa make an appearance, should contact Mrs. Ostler. |
